Skiers’ Breakfast Burrito at Beaumont Bakery: Morning Fuel for the Slopes

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve a mention. One of those staples is Beaumont—today I picked up a breakfast burrito and knew it had to be included.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you play in the Wasatch Front mountains, Beaumont is an excellent spot to fuel up before a day outside. I often grab a breakfast burrito on the way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While drive-through burritos from many Mexican spots can be tasty, they sometimes leave me feeling greasy and tired—especially when I’m heading into physical activity. Beaumont’s offering avoids that.

The breakfast burrito at Beaumont is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers. What really elevates it, though, is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing that brings balanced brightness and richness. A good burrito often comes down to the sauce, and Beaumont nails that component.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. Their coffee and pastries are reliable, and dishes like the burrata salad are consistently excellent. Because the food is so good, expect crowds—especially on weekends you’ll often see a line or groups waiting outside. If you just need coffee and pastries, don’t be intimidated: you can usually grab what you need quickly or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or the nicely designed interior, allow some extra time on busy days.

Beaumont is a dependable choice for a fresh, convenient breakfast before a day in the mountains or a relaxing weekend brunch—you’ll find quality ingredients, thoughtful flavors, and an inviting atmosphere.
