Party of Five: Complete Series Guide and Episode Order

I feel like I’ve been keeping a secret for the past few months. Blogging has been far from regular — summer activity and busy schedules are part of it, but the main reason I’ve been quieter is something much more personal.

I’ve been exhausted.

Nauseous.

Short-tempered at times.

All for a wonderful reason.

Yes — baby number three is due at the end of February 2016! We are overjoyed to welcome another child into our family. Hunter brought so much happiness when he arrived, and Zoe added another layer of love and laughter. We are already excited to see what this little one will bring into our home.

Each pregnancy seems to pass more quickly than the last. I can’t believe I’m already in my second trimester; it feels like only yesterday I discovered I was pregnant. We had an early appointment on Friday and heard the baby’s heartbeat — a moment that made everything feel wonderfully real. Even though I could sense the changes in my body, seeing and hearing that tiny heartbeat brought it home.

Hunter will be just a few months shy of his fourth birthday when this baby arrives, and Zoe will have just turned two. I love their age spacing and how close they’ll likely be as they grow up together. We’ve decided to keep the baby’s gender a surprise until the birth — something we’re really looking forward to.

Now that I’m starting to feel more like my energized self, I hope to return to more regular posting. We’re also moving in a couple of weeks, so life is full of change right now — exciting, but busy. I’ll share updates when I can and plan to document parts of this pregnancy, as I have in the past, because it’s such a meaningful part of our lives.

Thank you for sticking with me through the sporadic posts. I look forward to being back more often and sharing more of this journey with you soon.
